It will be very emotionally for the young striker to wear the red shirt of his country! He wants to return to his old days , the likes of Ajax and Celta. Maybe with the level shown against Spurs , his goal can be acheived, especially he want to performe for The NT. All we can hope is that he will enjoy his playing time and be free injury for the game against Liverpool a few days later in the PremierLeague . It seems to be a new era in his wonderful career .

Mido come off the bench to score what seems to be the winning goal for spurs to end up a miserable SEVEN YEARS OFF START OF THE SEASon , as Boro hadn’t win their opening game of the season since 2001. So Mido helped his team to get their first three points of the season , and left Spurs , with the big name in the bottom of the league. But notice that it is just the 1st day of the season , surely more AND better performance to come from SPurs and Boro , as both teams has what it takes to compete with big teams and get their seats in the TOP 10 of the Barclays Premier League. But as a Mido’s Fan , I really hope that he’ll keep on his fitness and give back to the Boro all hapiness!!!

For the rating, for me, Mido can get 7.5 /10 for his game during the last 8 minutes of the game !

Mido will begin tomorrow his new season with a clash against Spurs at the Riverside. He will start probably the game with Alves upfront , a duo that many experts see as the best . Southgate is hopefull that Mido can add a fresh style to the team that needs to success this season , as for the past few season , they always battled to survive to the relegation. If he doesn`t enter the starting lineup, Tuncay is the nearest to replace but we can be sure that The BIG HITMAN will have his touch in this game against his former club where he enjoyed happiness and sadness , so we can call it THE REVENGE!!C`mon MIDO!!

Middlesbrough: Turnbull, Williams, Wheater, Huth, Pogatetz, Walker, Digard, O’Neil, Downing, Alves, Mido

Jol can handle Mido character , he has done once when he was at Spurs. But it will be hard to see Mido leaving the premier league in favour of the Bundesliga ,as he said many times he wants to stay at the premier league as long as he can. Also Hamburg had many good strikers like Zidan , Olic, Guerrero , who by the way has the same playing style as Mido. So there no possibility of that kind of move, a week from the start of the premier league. Mido will likely stay with Boro and will prove his worth as he lost many pounds and became very fit. But in football , anything can happen in a few days or hours. Let’s wait and see what the future handles for the big hitman .

It was a good week for Mido as he has played 65 min againt Hever.( SPL) , showing a nice performance , not his best but still needs to work hard to acheive his goals this season . Also he has been called for EGYPT NT , to play againt Sudan ( 20 August) , first game since more than a year. I really hope that he’ll prove his worth both to BORO and EGYPT NT . By the way , Mido will probably play today against Darlington . He’s better to score a goal!! as Alves is on fire those days, firing 2 goals last game ! as he replaced Mido !!!!

Egyptian striker Mido insists he will be back to his best for Middlesbrough next season after shedding two stone.

The striker had an injury-plagued first full season with Boro last term after his £6million switch from Spurs last August.

He netted just two goals for the Teessiders – which came when he scored on his debut against Fulham and also his home debut against Newcastle.

But he then failed to find the net for the rest of the season as injuries took their toll.

Criticised
And he even ended up being criticised by some Boro fans after looking out of shape towards the end of the season.

But the Egyptian striker has replied by putting in the work this summer to get his fitness back.

He has spent a month with a fitness expert in Cairo, taking part in running sessions in the morning and then weight and strength training in the afternoon heat.

He cancelled his summer holidays for these double fitness sessions and the hard work has paid off as he has shed two stone to get down to 14 stone.

Mido is now raring to go, although he is having to train with the reserves on Teesside at present after a visa problem left him unable to travel to the club’s Portugal training camp.

Fitness
Mido told the Daily Mirror: “I have made sure I’ve got back to a good level of fitness.

“The heat was 40c but every day we worked hard on conditioning.

“Sometimes I would have no pain and start training again, only for it to come back. I have done everything possible to be fit.

“Now I want to get better luck and score some goals.”

Good to Go … Cant Wait

Mido promises us to have a great season , me cant wait to see him on the pitch and bang some goals, many dreams to come true .. it’s the season to survive or to die

Mido To Survive Or To Fail ?

Mido has been outstanding for many years , playing for 8 clubs in 8 years, proved himself everywhere he gone. But the last two seasons were horrible, missing many games due to injury and a lack of fitness , many thought he’s done with European football , but during the summer holidays , he worked very hard to return to his old habit and make me and you cheer wherever we are. I was fascinated by his form , losing more then 26 pounds in a few weeks and being ready for the new season who I call Survive or Die! This guy has the guts to do magic if only he wants, plus the fact that he got his second son, Hussein, last month ,will push him to train hard in order to return as he was known. I except a great season for Mido and the all team ( Boro) as well as everybody want to prove himself in order to catch a deal with the Big Four . Only with the Big Four because the premier league is the best league around the world and probably the most watched and by consequence , most of them will stick around for a long time. So will Mido survive or die ? Big question that only 16 August will answer us as the league opens.

All begins today .. !!
